Steven Souza is a player to watch out for in this coming series as he currently leads the team in Home Runs with five already this season. He also leads the team in Runs Batted In with 14 so far.

Evan Longoria is the player with the best Batting Average for Tampa Bay with .304 conversion average.

On the other hand, the Yankees have Mark Teixeira who leads the team in Home Runs and RBI's as well with 10 and 25, respectively.

Jacob Ellsbury has a .347 Batting Average, which is the best for New York.

Tampa Bay already had a series earlier in the season as hosts against New York, with the three-game battle ending in a clean sweep for the Yankees.

Two of the three matches were close, ending in 5-4 and 5-3 wins for the Yankees except for the second game where New York blew Tampa Bay away 9-0.

Their next three meetings were played at Yankee Stadium and New York won that series again 2-1.

They scored four runs in the first two games to beat Tampa Bay, but were unable to muster any good runs in the third game where the Rays took advantage for a 3-2 win.

Now they will look to beat the Yankees at home and maybe turn the tide after this four-game stretch is over.
